Vintage Party and Sunshine Pop

Sunshine pop is a nostalgic term, invented mostly by record collectors in the 90s, that is applied to late-60s music with a certain sound: lush arrangements, soft harmonies, instruments more familiar from chamber music, and a cheerful, shimmery sound. Groups like the Association, the Mamas and the Papas and the Millennium brought Sunshine pop to the level of art, while it was also a commercial success.

Tune into Vintage Party tonight at 19:00 and relax and feel the warm California vibes of Sunshine pop.
