A Stop Along the Silk Road: Radio UF on a Mission to Central Asia

Let us tell you about the countries nestled between mountains and mighty neighbors. The Central Asian countries tend to be forgotten, especially by us Westerners. Yet, these countries will become more geopolitically important as Russia and China find themselves in a tug of war regarding the influence of the "stan-countries". Radio UFs' Oscar Hemborg and Elisabeth Chadian were a part of the UF Travel Group on their latest trip to Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan - a truly remarkable journey filled with spectacular nature, culture, and meetings. Join us as we discuss their impressions and analyze these post-soviet societies and their future. And of course, share their highlights from Bishkek and Almaty!

Broadcasters: Elisabeth Chadian, Isidore Brommare and Oscar Hemborg
